PARK CLOSURES
If you’re planning a visit to your Huron-Clinton Metroparks, it’s always a good idea to know-before-you-go. Check the park information below for any closures you should expect during your visit.
Please be advised, parks will begin to winterize and close some comfort stations/restrooms beginning October 1 for the winter season.
Delhi is open daily from 8 am – 8 pm.
Dexter-Huron is open daily 8 am – 8 pm.
Hudson Mills Metropark – Park is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Park Office – Open daily 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Golf Course – Open, weather dependent. Tee times prior to 2:00pm on weekends and holidays must be booked online on the Metroparks website or on GolfNow.
Disc Golf Course, Original and Monster – CLOSED Friday, April 19; Saturday, April 20; and Sunday, April 21 for 35th Annual No Foolin’ Tournament presented by Discraft.
Huron Meadows Metropark – Park is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.
Currently there is a construction project taking place on Silver Lake Road. To access Huron Meadows during construction from US 23 you will need to exit at exit 58 Lee Road. Go west on Lee Road and then at the light turn left heading south onto Rickett. The golf course will then be approximately 2-3 miles down on your right hand side. Construction Closures Begin March 18 in Green Oak Township

A series of closures will take effect next week on local roadways and a carpool lot in Green Oak Township.
Below are the outlined closures from Livingston County Emergency Management.
The closures are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 18, and extend through mid-August.
ROAD CLOSURE:
EB/WB Silver Lake Rd. from Whitmore Lake Rd to Fieldcrest Dr.
Starts: 03/18/2024 7:00 AM
Ends: 08/16/2024 5:00 PM
Detour: Traffic will be detoured to Whitmore Lake Rd or Fieldcrest Dr., and to Lee Road or M-36 to access ramps and freeway.
CARPOOL LOT CLOSURE:
US-23/Silver Lake Road Carpool Lot
Starts: 03/18/2024 9:00 AM
Ends: 08/16/2024 11:59 PM
RAMP CLOSURES:
NB US-23 ramp to/from Silver Lake Rd.
Starts: 03/18/2024 7:00 AM
Ends: 08/16/2024 5:00 PM
Detour: Traffic will be detoured to utilize the M-36 and Lee Rd interchanges and ramps.
SB US-23 ramp to/from Silver Lake Rd.

Golf Course – Open! Weekends and holiday tee times prior to 2 pm must be made using the online tee time system only.
Environmental Discovery Center – Open daily from 9am – 5pm.
Indian Springs Metropark Golf Course – Open for the season.
Indian Springs Spray ‘n’ Play – Closed for season.
Sledding Hill – Conditions may not be ideal.
Cross County Skiing – Conditions may not be ideal.
Kensington Golf Course is now open.

Lake Erie Metropark Wave Pool – The Great Wave Pool and Food Bar will be closed for repairs for the 2023 season.
Lake Erie Metropark Golf Course – Tee times for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays before 2 p.m. must be made online at metroparks.com/golf

Sledding Hill: Closed

Lake St. Clair Metropark Adventure Golf (Mini Golf) Closed for the season.
Lake St. Clair Metropark Par 3 Golf Course – Closed for the season.
Lake St. Clair Metropark Pool and Splash Pad- Closed for season.
*Woods Creek Playground: Rocket Ship Tower Slide feature currently closed until further notice.
Hike Bike Trail Connector to Willow: Open; It will remain open unless there is a measurable now that would necessitate a temporary closure.
Lower Huron Metropark Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center: Closed
Oakwoods Nature Center: September 1 through June 18 Open 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Weekdays Open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Weekends
Hike Bike Trail Connector to Flat Rock: Open; It will remain open unless there is a measurable snow that would necessitate a temporary closure.
Stony Creek Lake/Boat Launch Conditions: Lake levels will remain low until the third week of April due to seawall construction.
Stony Creek Landing: Restrooms will be closed 4/22 for 2-3 weeks due to construction project.
Stony Creek Metropark: There is a detour on the Paved Hike Bike Trail between Eastwood Beach and The Landing due to construction.
Stony Creek Metropark Golf Course: Golf Course is open. Call (586)781-9166 to book tee time.
Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center: Open 1pm – 5pm Monday-Friday, 10am – 5pm Saturday/Sunday
Stony Creek Metropark Off-Leash Dog Park: Closed every Monday morning until 11am for maintenance
Stony Creek Shelden Mountain Bike Trails: Bike Trails are open. Back restrooms are closed for repair due to water main break. Front restrooms are open.
Disc Golf Course: Holes #18 – 22 are Closed.
Willow Sledding Hills: Closed
Willow Cross Country Ski Trail: Closed
Hike Bike Trail Connector to Lower Huron: Open; It will remain open unless there is a measurable snow that would necessitate a temporary closure.
Willow Metropark Golf Course: Open
Willow Metropark Pool: Closed
Willow Bike Rental at Willow Pool: Closed
Wolcott Farm Center – Open daily 9am-5pm.
Wolcott Mill – Building closed but trails are open.
North Branch Trails – Open from dawn until dusk. Weather permitting based on water levels.
FYI – Natural Resources Department is beginning restoration of the North Branch Trails through prescribed burning this spring. Immediately after burning, we will spread native prairie seeds throughout the area to encourage pollinator-friendly species. Future work may include treating invasive species and repeated prescribed burning every three or so years.
